What is the daily schedule like?

We operate from 6:00am to 6:00pm with a maximum enrollment of 10 hours per day. We operate during the week, Monday through Friday.

What ages does Discovery Junction accept?

We care for all children from 6 weeks old up through the end of Elementary School.

What food is provided for my child/children?

Breakfast, lunch, and a snack.

What is the curriculum you follow?

We use PA Learning standards for early childhood, and Creative Curriculum for all ages. As teachers, we understand every child is different and learns differently. Teachers modify lesson plans to adapt to each child’s needs and abilities.

What are the teacher to children ratios?

• 6 weeks to 12 months: 4 children per 1 teacher 

• 12 to 24 months: 5 children per 1 teacher

•  24 to 36 months: 6 children per 1 teacher

•  36 to 60 months: 10 children per 1 teacher

•  60+ months: 12 children per 1 teacher

How will I communicate with my child’s teachers?

Discovery Junction believes it is important to include the family in any way possible. As such, we provide daily sheets to show your child’s progress as they develop. We have regular parent/teacher conferences, and you can also stay in touch using the SEESAW parent app or the DOJO parent app on your smartphone (in select classrooms).

What is the cost of tuition?
